Die Geschichte einer Republikflucht:<\/p>\n

Klaus-Peter M. [Name ge\u00e4ndert] fuhr mit seinem Lkw morgens gegen 6.30 Uhr zun\u00e4chst durch den Kontrollpunkt „Roter Kopf“ der Volkspolizei und anschlie\u00dfend durch einen weiteren Kontrollpunkt der Grenztruppen – nach Vorlage der erforderlichen Passierscheine – ohne Probleme in Richtung Gro\u00dfburschla.<\/p>\n

Etwa zwei Kilometer nordwestlich von Schnellmannshausen (Kreis Eisenach), an einer Stelle, an der die Stra\u00dfe unmittelbar am Grenzzaun verlief, stellte M. den LKW ab und kletterte auf den Sattelauflieger seines Fahrzeugs. Darauf hatte er eine Art ausfahrbaren Ausleger von \u00fcber zehn Metern L\u00e4nge montiert, der sich auf etwa 20 Meter ausfahren lie\u00df. M. hatte diese Ausleger-Konstruktion in wochenlanger Arbeit selbst gebaut und schwenkte sie jetzt in Richtung des doppelten Grenzzauns.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
