So nannte man bereits in der DDR die Gegend ganz oben im \u00e4u\u00dfersten Nordosten dieses Landes. Und irgendwie hat dieser Begriff eine zeit\u00fcberdauernde Bedeutung. Selbst eine neue Autobahn schafft es nicht, diese Gegend n\u00e4her an Deutschland zu bringen.<br \/>\nDaf\u00fcr dind die Menschen liebenswert, st\u00f6rrisch, nett. Ein Tankstellenbetreiber antwortete auf die Frage nach Wasser f\u00fcr meinen Kanister: &#8222;Den Hahn draussen habe ich abgeschraubt. Die mit den Wohnmobilen treiben mich sonst in den Ruin!&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Dann nahm er wortlos den Beh\u00e4lter und bef\u00fcllte ihn im f\u00fcr Kunden abgesperrten Bereich seiner Tankstelle. <\/p>\n<p>Meine letzte der drei Abladestellen war in einem Dorf, in der N\u00e4he von Demmin. &#8222;Es wird immer schlimmer&#8220;, sagte der Staplerfahrer am Ende der Entladung. &#8222;Die D\u00f6rfer sind noch immer am zerfallen. Und die Menschen? Na ja. Grauer Alltag, nur Aussichtslosigkeit.&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8222;Von den j\u00fcngeren ziehen sicher viele weg&#8220;, fragte ich ein wenig naiv. &#8222;Ja, die k\u00f6nnen das. Aber wir Alten? Weggehen, umziehen, dass ist leicht gesagt. Wohin und womit denn? Das Haus verkaufen? Hier zahlt doch keiner was daf\u00fcr.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Weit bin ich nicht mehr gekommen. Ich stehe noch immer irgendwo bei Demmin. Vorhin habe ich im Internet gelesen, dass die Politik hier versagt hat und die Menschen deshalb f\u00fcr die Einfachheit der rechten Parolen besonders empf\u00e4nglich sind.<br \/>\nKeine Ahnung, ob das so ist. Vielleicht erhoffen sich die Leute auch nur ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit.
